Michelle Burkhart

Michelle Burkhart, CMT, HHP

Michelle was born and raised in Dodge City, KS. She received a BFA from Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS. Shortly after, she moved to San Diego where she received her training in massage therapy at Mueller College of Holistic Studies and has been a resident since 1995.

She is a nationally certified massage therapist and holistic health practitioner. Michelle specializes in Swedish, Tui Na, Acupressure, and Cupping therapies. She strives to continually learn more to deepen her skills. Michelle's mission is to be a vehicle for natural healing by bringing balance to the body, mind, and spirit in order to help her clients regain their inner peace and strength.
Mischa Lee

Mischa Lee LMT, HHP

Mischa was born and raised in San Diego and lived in the Lake Tahoe area for 25 years before returning to San Diego. Her original education was as a pre-med anatomy and physiology, along with two apprenticeships studying and practicing traditional Japanese Zen Shiatsu and Chinese Meditative massage.

Since her initial training over 30 years ago, her intuitive way of working has expanded to include deep tissue techniques, sports massage, Swedish, pregnancy massage, reflexology, Ashiatsu and an ability to continually learn from and adapt her work to each client. Mischa enjoys developing a real understanding of what an individual needs during a massage, whether she sees you once or on an ongoing/regular basis. Mischa feels very fortunate that she loves what she does and has the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the health and well-being of her clients.
Blythe Tagawa

Blythe Tagawa CMT, HHP

Blythe was born and raised in Los Angeles and has been a resident of San Diego since 1993. She grew up playing competitive sports including soccer, tennis, and swimming and quickly learned the importance of both pre- and post-event care for athletes, including massage and proper stretching. This interest in sports care is what eventually led her to choosing her career in massage therapy.

She is nationally certified as a massage therapist and also received her license as a Holistic Health Practitioner. She attended the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego where she specialized in both Sports Massage and Seitai Shiatsu. She also integrates the work of Thai Massage, which she believes is an effective combination of yoga and acupressure.
Joanna Ward

Joanna Ward CMT, HHP

Joanna was born and raised in Washington and moved to San Diego in 2001. She studied massage therapy at the International Professional School of Bodywork and received her HHP in 2008. During her studies she focused on Asian healing arts and nutrition.

Joanna's massage practice focuses on the health of the whole body. When the body is relaxed and free from stress and pain it can better heal itself. She strongly believes that balancing Eastern and Western approaches to health are important in treating illness and injury and that prevention is the absolute best medicine. Joanna is trained in many modalities and blends them into each massage to create a personalized session based on the needs of each client.
Joel Uranga

Joel Uranga, CMT

Joel was born in Reno, NV but lived in Sacramento, CA. He received his first massage when he visited San Diego to see his wonderful sisters; he fell in love with it and wondered why he had never gotten a massage sooner. He went back to Sacramento and enrolled at Northwestern College to pursue becoming a massage therapist.

Joel graduated in 2005 and moved to San Diego soon afterwards. Since then, he has been a nationally certified massage therapist. Joel thought massage school was nothing how he imagined it to be, it was much more. He strongly believes the body is amazing and there are no two that are alike, which makes it his passion to find what modalities will work best to make clients feel balanced, stress free, and whole.
Danielle Fielder

Danielle Fielder, CMT, HHP

Danielle was born a native San Diegan and has lived in the area her entire life. She worked at the UCSD Medical Center as a Hospital Assistant in the O.R. for 10 years before deciding to enroll at Muller College of Holistic Studies. She graduated with her Holistic Heath practitioner license in 2006.

Danielle specializes is deep tissue and sports massages and is passionate about pain and stress management for healing the body.
